Project Manager

Pipelines 2 Data (P2D) are specialists in gathering verifiable high quality data to deliver actionable insight on pipelines throughout the world.

We are looking for a new Project Manager to work in our busy Operations department.  The right person will be experienced in pipeline operations with a firm focus and interest in customer relationships and delivery.  The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with the ability to manage several overlapping scopes.

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum BSc (or equivalent) in relevant Engineering discipline
  • At least 3 years of pipeline operational experience (pigging, ILI etc)
  • Excellent organisational qualities, with the ability to work within varied teams and coordinate project outputs
  • Must have a drive to work to commercial deadlines
  • Strong ability to perform well under pressure of a high and varied workload, tight deadlines and changing job priorities
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the job role
  • Excellent Computer skills

Operations Support Technician - Calgary

We are looking for an Operations Support Technician to join our base in Calgary, Alberta.

 

Role responsibilities include:

  • Assemble, test & repair pipeline survey tools, including mechanical and electronic systems
  • Operate intelligent pipeline cleaning/survey tools in the field
  • Handle logistics, Shop operations and tools as required
  • Maintain Inventory

 

The right person for the role should have:

  • Preferred: Experience in pipeline pigging/ILI sector
  • Essential: Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Essential: Mechanical assembly experience
  • Essential: Top level communication skills & experience in working proactively to align regional Operations with company-wide standards and customer needs
  • Preferred: Brilliant electronic / trouble-shooting skills
  • Preferred: Excellent organisational and admin skills
  • Preferred: Solid computer skills; ie Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Essential: Adherence to all safety guidelines – both company and customer, including participation in Drug and alcohol testing
  • Preferred: Occasional Travel within Canada and USA
  • Essential: Job requires routine manual lifting of maximum of 50 lbs
  • Essential: Willing to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary with notice
